Can I try RentBase for free?
Yes! The Free plan lets you manage 1 property with 1 user, no credit card required. Use it as long as you like.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. You can downgrade to the Free plan or cancel your subscription at any time.
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored on Canadian servers and encrypted at rest. We never share your data with third parties. RentBase is built with security as a priority.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payments are processed securely through our Canadian payment processor.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your data is never deleted. Properties above your limit become read-only. AI scanning is paused. No data is ever deleted.
What are AI parsing scans?
When you upload a receipt, our AI automatically extracts the vendor, amount, date, and category. Each extraction counts as one scan. Pro includes 30 per month and Business includes 300. Need more? Contact us.

Which plans include the online rental applications?
Pro and Business include the online rental application portal. Send a public link for any property or unit, accept joint applications and co-applicants, and review submissions in your Applicants inbox.
Do all plans support multi-unit properties?
Yes. Every plan, including Free, supports named units inside a property (Apt 2A, Upstairs, Basement) with per-unit tenants, expenses, and income. The 1-property Free limit means you get 1 property with as many units as the building has.
